Thai Cultural Exchange Refund Policy for Individual Customers
Effective Date: 01/01/2025
At the Thai Cultural Exchange, we offer a variety of online courses, including language training courses, fruit and vegetable carving courses, and cooking courses. These courses are available for two primary purposes:
DTV Visa Support – For individuals seeking courses to support their DTV application.
Learning Purposes – For individuals purchasing courses for personal education and skill development.
This policy outlines the conditions under which refunds may be granted, depending on the reason for enrollment.
Free Sample Video for All Courses
Before making a purchase, we strongly encourage all individual customers to view a free sample video of the course. This will allow you to assess the content, instructional style, and format of the course before committing to payment.
Free Sample Video: Each course includes a free sample video that provides an overview of the course content, learning outcomes, and teaching approach.
Access to Free Sample Video: The free sample video is accessible on the website www.thaiculturalexchange.co.th for you to view prior to purchasing the selected course.
Refund Policy for DTV Visa Support Courses
These courses are designed for individuals applying for a DTV Visa and require specific documentation for submission to the embassy.
Once Payment is Made & Documents Are Issued:
No Refunds: Once payment is processed, the relevant documents required for the DTV visa application are automatically issued to you. Since these documents are critical for your visa application, once issued, the service is considered delivered, and no refunds will be granted.
Visa Rejection Due to Course Not Meeting Embassy Requirements:
If your visa application is rejected because the course does not meet the embassy’s requirements, you may be eligible for a refund, minus transaction fees.
To qualify, you must submit the official rejection notice from the embassy, showing that the reason for the visa rejection is that our course failed to meet the embassy's requirements.
Refund Process: Refund requests should be submitted within 7 days from the date you receive the embassy rejection notice.
Visa Rejection for Other Reasons:
No Refund: If your visa is rejected for any reason other than the course failing to meet embassy requirements (e.g., incomplete documents, personal issues), no refund will be issued. The documents have already been provided for the visa process however you may still access the learning course.
Applicant's Responsibility to Meet Thai Government Requirements:
You, the applicant, are solely responsible for ensuring that you meet the Thai Government’s Requirements for the DTV visa. This includes ensuring the correct submission of all personal documents to the embassy.
No Refund will be granted if the visa is rejected due to personal document issues or failure to meet the embassy’s requirements.
Exceptional Circumstances:
We may consider partial refunds on a case-by-case basis if there are exceptional circumstances (e.g., illness, emergencies) that prevent you from proceeding with the course. These requests will be reviewed individually and are not guaranteed.
Refund Policy for Learning Purposes (Non-DTV Visa Courses)
These courses are for individuals purchasing them for personal education and skill development (e.g., fruit and vegetable carving, cooking).
Once Payment is Made & Course Access Is Provided:
No Refunds: Once payment is made, you will receive immediate access to the course materials. Because the course content is provided right away, no refunds will be issued once payment has been processed.
